2020 Tick/ Mosquito/ Poison Ivy Control

Based on the past success of this program and out of concern for the health and welfare of our campers and staff, OTK has entered into a contract with Ivy Oaks Analytics to implement a comprehensive Tick/Mosquito/Poison Ivy Control program. Ivy Oaks Analytics has a proven track record of reducing the hazards of Ticks, Mosquitos and Poison Ivy at summer camps from Virginia to Canada. They have completed a full-site evaluation of VT and are implementing a multifaceted program to aggressively control ticks, mosquitos and poison ivy.

Ivy Oaks uses EPA approve natural compounds for the treatment of the general areas and approved insecticides to rid carrier hosts of ticks. Treatments will begin the last week in May and will be completed late in June to ensure the pest population is under control when our campers arrive.
