Питання про літні табори на оселі Вовчій Тропі під час пандемії
Багато батьків питаються чи табори відбудуться на оселі Вовчa Тропа цего літа. Подаємо загальні питання та відповіді.
1.Чи табір відбудеться цего року?
Відповідно до штатових вимог в Ню Йорку, окружні табори можуть планувати відкрити табори. В цей час оселя Вовча Тропа активно планує провадити табори з дозволом штату.
2. Які зміни оселя вносить цего року щоб забезпечити таборовиків?
Оселя Вовча Тропа встановила кілька процедур безпеки. Ці процедури включають менші групи, денні перевірки здоров'я, додаткові місця де можна мити чи дезінфікувати руки, посилення санітації оселі та більшість програм відбудуться на дворі на свіжому повітрі. Буде обмежане число таборовиків в шатрах та в бараках і діти будуть робити майже всі зайняття в менших групах тому нам, можливо, потрібно буде обмежити число таборовиків в цьому році. Якщо будуть зміни чи додаткові інформації дамо знати.
3. Чи табір буде тривати 3 тижні?
Ні, через КОВІДські вимоги тримати віддаль, ношення масок та скасування прогульок, табір правдо подібно буде тривати лише 2 тижні.
4. Чи моя дитина може бути на таборі тільки 1 тиждень?
Ні.
5. Який є кошт табору?
Кошт табору змінився через коротчий час таборування та через КОВІД. Речинець реєстраційних форм є 1ого травня. Перша оплата має бути звернена до 15ого травня. Тому що ми хочемо щоб табір був безпечний, ми віддамо оплату тим хто відмовляться до двох тижнів перед початком табору. Нам потрібно знати точне число таборовиків два тижні перед початком табору бо в той час замовляємо харчі.
6. Чи моя дитина буде мусіла носити маску?
Всі на оселі мусять носити маску більшу частину часу. Маски не будуть примусові коли діти їдять, плавають чи сплять.
7. Як буде зі спанням?
Згідно з правилами що до КОВІД, можуть бути 5 таборовиків на кожному боці бараку топто 10 таборовиків в бараку. В шатрах будуть 2 особи в кожному шатрі.
8. Чи де які зайняття будуть зканселовані через КОВІД?
Так, деякі спорти, прогульки та деякі міжтаборові/спільні зайняття як вечірки, є скасовані щоб таборовики трималися менших груп і не були за фізично близькі один до одного.
9. Чи моя дитина мусин пройти тестування на КОВІД перед табором?

10. Це є моєї дитини перший табір. Чи я можу помогти речі поставити на місце?
Цего року на жаль буде цілком інакше і ваша дитина мусить при помочі виховника прибрати своє місце в бараку чи в шатрі і розпізнати свої власні речі від річей інших таборовиків.
11. Чи я зможу розтаборувати мою дитини перший день?
Нажаль ні. Батькам не буде вільно заїжджати в табори. Юнацький виряд буде завезений до таборів від паркової площі. Батьки новацтва зможуть під їхати під гору, щоб виладувати дітей речі перед табором, але батькам не буде вільно війти в бараки. Паркова площа буде мати лятрини для родичів тому що не буде вільно входити в будинки на оселі.
12. Чи можна здати реєстраціні форми чи заплату перший день табору?
Ні. За для безпеки працівників і помічників, просимо щоб всі форми включно із медичними формами та оплатою були вислані вчасно. Таборовики без докінченних форм чи неповною оплатою не будуть прийнятті до табору цего року.
13. Чи буде загальне відкриття чи закриття на початок і кінець табору?
Щоби обмежити можливість заразити інших, цего року не буде загального відкриття ані закриття. Відкриття і закриття відбудиться по таборах без батьків чи гостей.
14. Чи я можу відвідати мою дитину під час табору?
Після того як залишити дитину перший день табору, батькам не дозволино приїжджати на оселю в будь який час з виїмком медичної потреби. День Пластуна не відбудиться цего року.
15. Чи будуть вечірки або інакші міжтаборові зайняття?
Щоби не підвищити кризу від КОВІДу, деякі міжтаборові зайняття, так як вечірки, нажаль не відбудуться цего літа.
16. Які зміни будуть зроблені в їдальні та під час харчування?
Юнацтво побільшости буде їсти у своїх таборах у своїх павілйонах. Новацтво побільшости буде їсти у великому павілйоні. Якщо треба, табори будуть їсти по менших групах по ротації щоб зменшити число людей без масок.
17. Що буде якщо моя дитина захворіє під час табору?
Якщо хто небудь на оселі чи то таборовик, виховник чи дорослий має гарячку, живіт нудить, вертає, горло чи живіт болить або є розпря з очей, ця особа буде ізольована і хтось змусить відібрати хвору особу в наступних 12 годин хіба є якась унікальна ситуація. Якщо дитині буде потрібно медичної допомоги поза тереном табору, батьки змусять приїхати та завести до клініки і таборовикові не буде вільно вернутися до табору цего літа. Очевидно в наглих випадках медична опіка викличе амбулянс/швидку допомогу.
18. Хто буде працювати в шпиталику?
Шпиталик буде мати медичну опіку весь табір (24/7) так як все. Але просимо тільки лишати потрібні ліки щоб було як найменше контакту між дітьми і медичною опікую.
19. Якщо батькам нема вступи до шпиталеку, як маємо передати ліки наших дітей?
Буде медичне шатро на парковій площі і там буде можливо здати ліки і поговорити з медсестрою.

FAQ for Pandemic Summer Camps at Vovcha Tropa 2021
Many parents have been asking questions about if and how camps will be held this summer at Vovcha Tropa. We thought we’d provide you with some of the questions along with answers.
1. Will we have camp?
According to NY State guidelines, overnight summer camps may proceed with plans to open. At this time Vovcha Tropa is actively planning to hold camps this summer (subject to NY State approval.)
2. What changes are you making this year to keep campers safe?
Vovcha Tropa is establishing safety procedures to help keep our campers safe, including smaller groups within each camp (cohorts), daily health screenings, additional hand washing/sanitizing stations, increased sanitization of facilities, and camp programs running mostly outdoors. Campers will do most of their activities with their barrack/tent mates. We are limiting the number of campers per tent and barrack, and therefore we may need to limit the number of campers that we will be able to take this year. However, as more data emerges, these policies are subject to change.
3. Will camp run the full 3 weeks?
No. With COVID requirements of social distancing, mask wearing and the elimination of field trips, camp will run 2 weeks.
4. Can my child attend only 1 of the 2 weeks of camp? No.
5. What is the fee schedule for camp?
Camp fees will be adjusted to reflect the 2 weeks of camp. Registration paperwork is due online on May 1st. The initial deposit is due May 15th. In order to encourage parents to keep campers safe, camp tuition deposits will be completed refunded for any parent who chooses to withdraw their child’s registration 2 weeks before the camp start date. We need to make the initial orders (food/supplies) before camp begins.
6. Will my child need to wear a mask?
Masks will be required most of the time for all campers. Masks will not be worn during meal time, swimming or sleeping.
7. Will the sleeping arrangements be different this year?
Yes. Due to COVID restrictions, we can only allow 5 campers per side of a barrack, 10 total campers per barrack. There will only be 2 occupants per tent.
8. Are there activities that will be eliminated because of COVID?
Because of the pandemic, some contact sports and activities will be eliminated to limit contact between campers and equipment. Camp field trips and inter-camp interactions (like spilne zajnyattya, vechriky, etc.) will also be eliminated to prevent exposure between cohorts.
9. Must my child get tested before coming to camp?

10. This is my child’s first camp, can’t I help get him/her settled?Due to the current COVID situation, this year’s camp will be completely different from other years. Your child will have to be able to function on their own, and be able to recognize their own belongings.
11. Will I be able to set up my child’s sleeping area on the first day of camp?
Parents will not be able to set up a child’s sleeping area. All gear for yunatstvo will be unloaded in the lower parking area and Vovcha staff will disperse everyone’s belongings. For novatstvo, parents will only be allowed to drive up to the parking area of the barracks where they will unload their child’s gear. Parents will not be allowed to enter the barracks or any other building. Port-a-Potties will be set up in the lower parking lot for parents.
12. Can I submit any registration forms or make a payment on the first day of camp?
No. In order to protect our staff, we ask that all forms, including medical forms, and payments be submitted according to the due dates. Any camper with incomplete registration or medical forms, will not be accepted to camp.
13. Will there be opening ceremonies on the first and last day of camp?
To eliminate large gatherings, there will be no ceremonies on the first and last days of camp. Camp opening and closing ceremonies will be held within each camp. No parents allowed.
14. Will I be able to visit my child at camp?
Once a child is dropped off on the first day of camp, parents will not be allowed to enter the oselia or visit at any time. There will be no Den Plastuna activities this year.
15. Will there be vechirky or other inter-camp activities?
Certain activities have been a tradition at camp, but for this summer, they unfortunately need to be eliminated to lessen the risk of COVID.
16. How will meal time change at camp?
Yunaky and Yunachky will eat most of their meals in their own camp pavilions. The novaky and novachky will be eating most of their meals in the larger, main pavilion. Some meal times may be staggered in order to provide more space between each camper at tables.
17. What if my child needs medical attention at camp?
Any child that has a fever, nausea, vomiting, cough, congestion, sore throat, abdominal pain, or eye discharge during camp, will be isolated from other campers and will need to be taken home within 12 hours, unless there are extenuating circumstances. Any camper who requires off-site medical attention for any reason will need to be taken off-site by their parent and will not be allowed to return to camp.
18. How will the shpytalyk be staffed?
Our shpytalyk will be staffed 24/7 by medical personnel, as it has been in years past. However, we ask that parents consider which daily medications they send their child with to camp are essential, in order to limit our medical personnel’s exposure to campers.
19. If we cannot enter the clinic, where will I drop off my child’s medication?
There will be a tent set up in the lower parking lot for dropping off medications.
20. How can I help Vovcha during this unusual year?
