Questions & Answers for Summer Camp at Vovcha Tropa 2021 (Part 2)
1. Як я відправлю мою дитину на табір?
Через таборові вимоги від CDC, нікому не буде вільно завести їхню дитину до місця таборування. Це зміна від нашого останого листа і включає всі 5 таборів – новаки, новачки, юнаки, юначки і табір старшого юнацтва. Буде треба всіх таборовиків і їх виряд скинути в нижній паркові площі. Члени оселі привезуть їх виряд на місце їхнього табору. Родичі попращатися з дітьми в нижній паркові площі а виховники відпроваджуть дітей до табору. Є осібний лист що детально пояснить цей процес відпровадження таборовиків.
2. Хто поможе дітям розтабороватися?
Разом з булавою, буде група ваксанованих добровольців, котрі не мають дітей на оселі, допоможуть всім дітям розтаборуватися.
3. Чи моєї дитини речі загубляться?
Прошу напишіть дитини імя і приізвище на усім виряді. На приклад на подушках, коциках, спимішках, рушниках, черевиках, масках, приладдя до миття, плинах, одностроях і хустках, жакетах, убраню скарпеткам та все інчим. Дітей валізки чи торби також мусять мати імя. Прошу навчітьти ваших дітей як відрізняти їхний віряд від других. Все буде транспортоване до табору у великих сміттяних торбах.
4. Чи я мушу привести ці торби до сміття?
Так прошу. Коли ви заїдити на оселю, ваших дітей речі підуть в ці торби і напишемо імя та табір на торбах. Торби також поможуть охоронити виряд від дощу.
5. Моя дитиа є учасник табору старшого юнацтва (Ю2) чи треба привести шатро?
Так прошу. Вони можуть умовитися з ким хочуть спати перед табором або можуть спати самі. Лишень 2 особи можуть спати в кожному шатрі.
6. Чи юнацтві треба привести полове ліжко?
Так прошу. Юнацтво не може спати на землі і це включає все юнацтва – юнаки, юначки і табір Ю2.
7. Чи треба привести мило і санітайзер?
Так прошу. Прошу привести 2 баночки плиного мила і 1 баночку санірайзера (дезіфіккуючий засіб для рук).
8. Чи новацтво мусить принести речі на майстрування?
Так прошу. Через CDC вимоги, діти не можуть ділитися вирядом. Прошу перевітити загальний список виряду та кожний комендант також вишле емайл з додатковим вирядом.
9. Чи буде нагода зустріти булаву?
Так. 8ого липня будуть віртуальні сходини зі всіма комендантами і виховниками. Інформації про сходини будуть Вам вислані завчасно перед сходинами. Якщо Ваша дитина має спеціяльні потреби прошу напишітьти до под. Аді Федорійчук – afedorijczuk@gmail.com
10. Чи моя дитина мусить бути ваксинованв проти ковіду?
Вся булава та всі табороики табору Ю2 мусять бути цілком ваксиновані. Ми радемо щоби діти між 12-15 також були вакциновані.
11. Кому треба ковід тест перед табором?
Всім таборовикам, pодичам і шоферам треба мати негативний ковид тест не більше як 72 години перед першим днем табору. Всі в авті мусять мати або доказ ковід тесту або доказ імунизації. Прошу видрукувати копії доказу щоби здати при приїзді.
12. Якщо Я або моя дитина є ваксановані чи треба дістати ковид тест перед табором?
Ні. Повно ваксановані особи (булавв, добровольці, таборовики, родичі та щофери) не мусять негативний ковид тест перед приїздом. Але всі мусять принести доказ імунізації (прошу видрукати копію) з ними на табір.
13. Коли особа є цілком ваксинована?
Особа є цілком вакцинована 14 днів по 2гим Модерна чи Файзер вакциною чи 14 днів по Джонсен і Джонсен ваксиною.
14. На котру годину привести дітей на табір?
Щоби зконтралювати дорожний рух, ми всіх повідомимо про Ваш назначиний час приїзду. Прошу не приїжайти скоріши ніж ваш час. Добровольці будуть по дорозі котрі поможуть перевіряти докази ваксинації або ковід тестів і поможуть з інструкціями. Прошу мати пошану до наших добровольців.
15. Чи моя дитина буде мусіла носити маску?
Так. Всі на оселі мусять носити маску більшу частину часу. Маски не будуть примусові коли діти їдять, плавають, миються, сплять або коли на дворі і роширені. Коли таборовики будуть з своєю групою, дітям не буде потрібно мати маски.
16. Чи моя дитина дістане ковід тест на таборі?
Так. Між 3им – 5им днем на таборі, кожний таборовик дістане ковид тест. Ми повідомимо родичів про висліди раз ми їх одержемо.
17. Чи я можу відвідати мою дитину під час табору?
Ні. Після того як залишити дитину перший день табору, батькам не дозволино приїжджати на оселю в будь який час з виїмком медичної потреби. День Пластуна не відбудиться цего року.
18. Чи можна пошту посилати?
Так але майти на увазі що табір є скорочений. Так як все, не вільно посилати їжу.
19. Чи будуть знимки таборів?
Так. Прошу майти на увазі що через вимог від CDC мабуть буде тяжко пізнати дітей. Всі знимки будуть дітей в масках. Прошу перервіряти нашу веб-сторінку денно на знимки.
20. Чи родичі можут прийти на закриття?
Ні, закриття всіх таборів є запляноване на пятницю 23ого липня. Ми спробуємо накрутити видео всіх закритів щоби поділитися зі всіма.
21. Як будемо забирати наших дітей?
Інструкції про забирання дітей будуть надіслані батькам пізніше.
1. How am I going to drop my child off?
Due to CDC camp guidelines, NO ONE will be allowed to drive their child to their camp area. This has changed from our previous statement and includes all 5 camps: novaky, novachky, yunaky, yunachky, and U2. All campers and their gear must be dropped off at the lower parking lot. Your child’s gear will be brought to their camp by members of the oselia. All parents must say goodbye to their child in the lower parking lot. We will have bulava take the campers to their respective camps. Please refer to Camper Drop-Off Procedures & Rules for complete detailed instructions.
2. Who will set up all my child’s gear?
In addition to our bulava, we have fully immunized volunteers, who do not have children attending camp, that will be helping set up all the campers.
3. How will my child’s gear not get lost?
Label ALL of your child’s gear (including pillows, blankets, sleeping bags, towels, shoes, masks, toiletries, bug spray, sunscreen, uniform including hutska, jackets, clothing, socks, and anything else they are bringing with them) and place into LABELED containers. Use as few containers as possible and teach your children to recognize their own belongings. All your child’s gear will be transported in heavy duty garbage bags to their camp.
4. Do I need to provide my child with black heavy duty garbage bags?
YES. Upon arrival, all your child’s gear will be consolidated into the garbage bags and labeled with your child’s name and camp. This will also protect their gear in case of inclement weather.
5. Does my U2 child need to bring a tent?
YES. If your child is attending U2 from July 10-24, then they must bring their own tent to sleep in. They can arrange to share a tent with one other camper from U2 or sleep on their own. No more than 2 people may sleep in a tent.
6. Does my U2 child need to bring a cot?
YES. Campers may not sleep on the ground. This includes U2 and all of yunastvo.
7. Does my child need to bring hand soap and hand sanitizer this year?
YES. Please provide 2 bottles of hand soap and 1 bottle of hand sanitizer.
8. Does my novak/novachka need to bring their own art supplies?
YES. Due to CDC guidelines, campers cannot share supplies. Please refer to the vyriad list on our website for further guidance. All parents will also receive a letter from their child’s komendant(ka) with possible further necessary supplies.
9. Will I be able to meet to my child’s counselor?
YES. We will have an online meeting with counselors on Thursday evening, July 8th. You will be introduced to the komendanty and all of the counselors. 10. Must my child be immunized?
All bulava and U2 campers must be fully immunized. We strongly encourage 12-15 year olds to get immunized.
11. Who needs a COVID test before coming to Vovcha Tropa?
ALL campers and drivers who are not fully immunized must get a PCR test within 72 hours of the first day of camp. Anyone in the car with your child who is not fully immunized must get a PCR test within 72 hours of the first day of camp. A printed hard copy of these results will need to be provided on the first day of camp when you arrive in the parking lot.
12. If I or my child is fully immunized, do they need a COVID test before coming to camp?
NO. Fully immunized bulava, campers, volunteers, parents, and drivers do not need a PCR test before coming up to camp. However, everyone (including bulava, campers, volunteers, parents, and drivers) will be asked to bring proof of immunization (a printed hard copy) with them to camp to prove their immunization status.
13. Who is considered fully immunized?
A person is considered fully immunized 14 days after the 2nd dose of the Pfizer or Moderna COVID vaccines or 14 days after receiving the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
14. What time do I bring my child to camp?
To control the flow of traffic in the parking lot, we will inform of you of your child/children’s drop off time via email. Please do not arrive earlier than your designated time, as you will be turned away and asked to wait. There will be volunteers along the road to help guide you, review your vaccination cards and/or COVID tests, and help direct your children. Please remember to be respectful in your interactions with our volunteers.
15. Will my child need to wear a mask?
YES. Masks will be required most of the time for all campers. Masks will not be worn during meal time, swimming, showering, sleeping or outdoor socially distanced activities. When campers are with their own cohort, they will be able to remove their mask.
16. Will my child get a COVID test at camp?
YES. On the 3rd-5th day of camp, every camper will be tested for COVID. Parents will be notified of results once we receive them.
17. Will I be able to visit my child at camp?
NO. Once a child is dropped off on the first day of camp, NO ONE will not be allowed to enter the oselia or visit at any time. There will be no Den Plastuna activities this year.
18. Can I send mail to my child during camp?
YES, but keep in mind the shortened duration of camp this year. As always, children cannot be sent food items.
19. Will we post photos of the camps?
YES. Please keep in mind that with social distancing and other CDC requirements, it may be difficult to recognize your child(ren). All posted photos will be of children in masks to adhere to HPB guidelines. Please check our website daily for photos from camp.
20. Will there be zakryttia that I could attend?
NO. Zakryttia is planned for Friday evening July 23rd, for each camp. We will do our best to video each zakryttia and post.
21. What is the procedure for pick up?
Instructions for pick up will be sent at a later date.
